Terms of Service
Last updated: 20 July 2026
Welcome to EduON. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the EduON platform at eduon.io, app.eduon.io and related services (the “Service”), operated by EduON (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials confidential. Accounts are personal: one teacher per account. School administrators may provision accounts on behalf of their teachers. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
2. Subscriptions, trials and billing
- New accounts may start with a free trial. A valid payment method is required to begin a trial; you will not be charged until the trial ends, and you may cancel at any time before then.
- Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. Prices are shown at checkout and may change with prior notice.
- Usage limits (such as monthly AI generations) apply per plan. Limits reset at the start of each calendar month.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of everything you upload (books, notes, past exams, letterheads) and everything you generate with the Service (assessments, plans, resources). You grant us a limited licence to store and process this content solely to operate the Service — for example, to ground AI generation on your uploaded materials. Materials you upload to your private library are never shared with other teachers or used in anyone else’s work.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload the content you provide, including copyrighted textbooks used within your school’s licence.
4. AI-generated content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to draft educational content. AI output can contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing generated material before using it with students. EduON provides tools (answer verification, per-item regeneration, editing) to support this review, but final responsibility for accuracy rests with the teacher.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to access other users’ data, probe or overload the Service, or reverse-engineer the platform.
- Do not upload unlawful content, malware, or content that infringes third-party rights.
- Do not use the Service to generate content unrelated to education, or resell access without a written agreement with us.
6. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is”, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on AI-generated content.
8. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time. On termination we will, on request, provide an export of your generated content within 30 days, after which it may be deleted.
