Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data EduON collects, why, and how it is protected. It applies to eduon.io, app.eduon.io and admin.eduon.io.

1. What we collect

  • Account data — name, email, school, language preference, hashed password.
  • Content you create or upload — assessments, plans, resources, uploaded reference materials, letterheads, class and student rosters you enter.
  • Billing data — plan, subscription status and card brand/last four digits. Full card numbers are handled by our payment provider and never stored by us.
  • Usage data — feature usage and AI generation counts, used for quotas, support and product improvement.

2. How we use it

  • To operate the Service — including grounding AI generation on your school’s curriculum and the materials you upload.
  • To send service emails: account verification, receipts, trial reminders, and important product notices.
  • To provide support and keep the platform secure.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your private uploaded materials to serve other customers.

3. AI processing

When you generate content, relevant excerpts of curriculum and your materials are sent to our AI processing partner to produce the result. These requests are used to generate your output, not to build advertising profiles.

4. Where data lives

Application data is hosted on servers in the European Union. Uploaded files are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage. Encrypted backups are retained for 14 days.

5. Student data

Teachers may enter student names and grades. Students do not have accounts. This data is visible only to the teacher who entered it (and their school’s administrators) and is used solely to provide the gradebook and coverage features.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies only: session authentication and language preference. No third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data. Deleting your account removes your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is legally required. Contact [email protected] for any request.

8. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will notify account holders by email before the changes take effect.
